Dog allergies and Cytopoint as a treatment -- new video

It's springtime, and along with warmer temperatures and beautiful flowers, it may mean allergies for dogs as well as humans.

If your dog is showing signs of allergies, and you have not had luck with other treatments, you may want to consider a drug called Cytopoint.

Unlike other treatments like prednisone or Apoquel, Cytopoint does not suppress the immune system, so it is safe for all patients.  It works by neutralizing IL-31, a cytokine that makes dogs itch.  It is an injectable medication that is given every 4 to 8 weeks.
